Dixon Sound Services is dedicated to making the highest-quality recordings for its clients.  I work directly with customers to ensure that they receive a product that will meet their needs.  I offer my services to professional and amateur musicians, bands, and studio teachers in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area.

Since 2001, I have worked professionally recording a wide range of genres including classical, rock, heavy metal, noise, hip-hop, jazz, vocal, electroacoustic, experimental, and country.  My job experience includes positions as a recording engineer for Ball State University, Michigan State University, and University of North Texas, as well as Blue Griffin Recording Services in Lansing, MI.   In addition, I served as graduate assistant for the University of North Texas Recording Services in the role of interim supervisor.  I hold a B.A. in Music Engineering Technology and an M.M. in Music Composition from Ball State University, and am currently completing my Ph.D. in Music Composition at the University of North Texas with a specialization in Computer Music.

My high-quality remote recording service specializes in recording live performances of all different styles of music.  I bring all of my recording tools directly to the customer so that they can focus on making music.  I offer reliable service with a quick turnaround to get the product, usually in the form of a compact disc, back to the customers.  I have an intense interest in a wide range of styles of music and a familiarity with their production techniques.
